GORDO
Not a newcomer to the diverse club scene DJ Gordo displays the talent one must have to rock any crowd. DJing since an early age, his mixing and turntablist skills impressed many, earning him respect and first club residency at Zero Gravity in 2001. This opened his doors to many avenues and between 2002 and 2003, DJ Gordo released countless Mix CDs throughout the Midwest making him a household name. With this great success under his belt, DJ Gordo decided to takeover and manage his own record shop, Chicago's Legendary HIP HOUSE. After making key contacts and learning the business side of the music industry, DJ Gordo wanted to pursue his love for music and in 2004 was offered a club residency in Daytona, Florida and made the move. For the ensuring year, DJ Gordo spun weekly at virtually every club throughout Central Florida for capacity crowds making his career choice clear. In 2005, DJ Gordo decided to move back home to NW Indiana. Here he formed PLAN B PROMO, which is currently one of Indiana's Top 21+ promotion companies. After DJing and promoting for Indiana's Top Nightclubs, nearby Chicago was the next city on his agenda. Within one short year Gordo mixed at top clubs and venues such as Spybar, Vision, Ontourage, Reserve, Zentra, Smartbar, House of Blues, Congress Theater and Energy to begin his Chicago resume. Quickly becoming resident at clubs like Crobar, Vision, Moda, Buzz, Climax, Stone Lotus. In 2008 DJ Gordo relocated to Chicago, DJing 5 to 6 nights a week. Partnered up with Gus Karas and DJ Buddha to form MADE IN CHICAGO. Currently working with Chicago's Biggest Promoters, DJ Gordo now holds residencies at the top Nightclubs and booked for frequent guest spots at Crescendo, Spybar, V-Live, Y-Bar, Proof, Social 25, Griffin Lounge, Bull & Bear, John Barleycorn, MID, and throughout the Midwest. Once recognized as one of Chicago's Most Underrated DJ's, DJ Gordo has earned the respect that is needed to make it in the music industry from the promoters who book him and club goers that follow him.
