Ricky Moran, aka DJ Navic, grew up in East Chicago. He started performing at the age of 15, playing with a professional DJ company, where he performed for parties like bar mitzvahs and school dances. He started playing house parties. By the age of 17, he was approached by J.E.T.S. Production, where he became an official DJ.
